Ah yes, I heard this bad boy on your YT. Just came in to slap a 5 on it. Friggin' baller tune.

Woah, reminds me of Command & Conquer a bit. With some VGMix stuff. The gating on the intro wasn't quite my cup of tea, but it didn't last long. Gritty, corrupt, tainted, yet beautiful all the same, especially the break down at 1:35. Even better when it gets back into the meat of things. Nice work >:3

Vimori responds:

Thank you so much, my friend! Really happy when reading it <3

Hoooo weee that ceiling is maxed, but there is 0 clipping. Pro skillz. This beat is fire and it's Bustin' :3

Vimori responds:

Thanks bro <3
I'll back to you soon!

Surprised this didn't get a front-page. Cool soundscape! And real crunchy, yet smooth instruments. Nice laid back wub-wub synth. The second half is even more compelling.

Does have a mysterious, slightly dark undertone. But it's also relaxing, in a point-and-click adventure way. Excellent work d00d!

ClitBait responds:

Thx :3

Really good syncopation and nice choice of instruments. Has a sort of celestial, uncanny vibe. That reoooww synth is pushed wayy too forward, I understand the intent but it's just too loud, sorry.

2:21 is a nice mixup though.

3:30 got into real weird territory again.

Oh this was 2019...I think you've improved since then. My bad.

ClitBait responds:

im still learning and this feedback help me to be better.

(edit) Grats on the FP. Very lovely tune and it has an excellent evolution, which follows the plot you have for it just so! An apt name too ;)

𝒮𝒰𝒫𝐸𝑅 𝒯𝐻𝒜𝒩𝒦𝒮. I'm very grateful that people seem to like this one.

Nice pumping bass-line and TMNT sound.

On second listen... Oh gosh it reminds me of some LJN games haha. Especially the X-Men ones =p

Sykozealot responds:

Yea the spooky woooo sound I modeled after the level 1 song on the nes wolverine game ^^

Yeah boi, front-page!! Heh, this reminds me of Terranigma a lot. With a touch of an Italian Soul. Spaghetti drama?

Bertn1991 responds:

I never imagined that this one would be front-paged, but I'm grateful. I'd first like to thank the academy.

Spaghetti drama, eh? I like the sound of that! And Terranigma is definitely a special kind of game. It's gained quite a cult following over the years, especially in Japan. I hear the reason there hasn't been any sequels or re-releases of it is because its creator disappeared and the rights to the IP are complicated. I guess with that new Act Raiser game releasing out of nowhere this year, anything's possible.

Very late vote, but I saw your YT link of it. AWESOME acoustic alternate rock tune mah boi!

Bertn1991 responds:

Much appreciated, good sir. The version on YouTube is better I think. I remastered pretty much all my tracks so volume and stuff is more consistent between them. Some of these were just so quiet :|

Lovely saxophone work, all around masterful jazziness. Love the pitch-work with the bass too!

Jumbs responds:

Thank you Hoboka! I really tried having that bass fill in the space between the piano and drums best I could. glad you enjoyed it! :]
