The off-keyness isn't in a good way imo. The melody and beat is kewl though. With a bit more work on the fine-pitch, I think this could be a 5/5. But as it stands...I can't really go higher than a 3. Keep at 'er man.

Oh man, now this is some awesome Sega FM soundchip work here. The direction is great and the arps are epic.

I'm not sure if tempo changes were do-able for the Snes. Correct me if I'm wrong. I like the spoopy vibe going on here. EDIT) In that case, here's a 5. :D

Sykozealot responds:

It's actually not a tempo change.

Instead I tried switching parts of the melody forward 1/4th a beat and 1/2 a beat slightly tweaking some of the notes forward and backward as well.

The goal was to have an off balance sound like somthing is going wrong, giving the player a greater since of urgency.

Oh good, there's bass here. A very interesting (if not unintentional) experimental sound. Haha. Well, this is OK.

🙏 Many thanks for giving us your feedback to learn and become better in my incoming videogame track. 👍👍

Hmmm. Can't quite put my finger on what's making this not sound so good.

It feels like every part isn't fitting with the rest. The arp is super repetitive and it sounds like it's missing a beat here and there. The arp is also very grating. This could really benefit from a Bassline...Neglecting the bass was also a mistake I used to make when I was first starting up too.

I like this one better than NS Virtual Players. The parts gel together better. Add in a bass-line and I'll give this a 3.5 :D

Transmutation is friggin' sick. I imagine the rest is just as solid. (edit) I found your bandcamp. I know what to do next :3...btw those orchestral elements are really good! All around great production.

ConnorGrail responds:

Thanks! Means a lot to hear that you enjoy it.
I have a handy little link in the description that leads to a page that will give you links to the album on a bunch of different services :) (BandCamp included)

(edit) I was too late... but I will just leave this here. Thank you!

I liked this a lot. Got no real useful feedback though lol. The cadence at 3:09-3:320 is especially good. 0:31-1:05 is my favorite bit. Pardon the edits.

RealMrSnuggles responds:

Thanks bro!

Oh man, this reminds me of Sonic CD. This is gooood. Great 90's nostalgia.

Definitely puts you in the mood to strip. Uh...I'll be in my bunk.

Hi all!! I am a seasoned ReMixer and Original Works composer.
I am inspired by the VGM classics from the likes of Kenji Yamomoto, Michiru Yamane, David Wise and many, many more! I love blending ambience with groove, especially...
