Cool bass down-pitches. Though this is mixed quietly, isn't it? Still, lots of cool touches here. Liking the vocoloids and gating.

Haha i'm honored that one of my originals was remixed. It's a very liberal approach, so there's a lot of new stuff to be gleamed from this. And this is hella creative and spooky. I also have another version that has some melodic ideas at the 3/4 part. I intend to do more with that version someday. "Scavenger" reminds me that I need to focus on my originals more.

Metal dubstep? Well this is killer. Great soundscape and FX too.

Man, with an updated sound library, this would sound killer. But the present samples are holding it back imo. Except the choral and the bell sounds.

Still, for a budget library, this isn't terrible and 'Vampire Mansion' is definite Hellion dirge material.

More sombre & reflective than spooky. But it does have some mystery feels to it. Hey, this reminds me of Parasite Eve. Kinda has a wintry feel at 3:09. A very interesting branch-off.

TheGoldenProof responds:

Yeah, I agree that it isn't really "spooky" but it is more spooky than any of my other stuff. I usually make music on the weekends, and my brain gets a little fried on weekdays, so I didn't really have the will power to go out of my usual style. Originally it wasn't even going to be a creepy piece, and I was just messing around to prepare to make this this weekend, but after experimenting with an arpeggiator and getting the dark base, I liked it and kept it and decided to get it out by Halloween. But yeah, because of time, it didn't really turn out like I wanted.

I got a sense we're heading somewhere bad too. Bilderberg Doom.
Finally, a dubstep-ish tune that isn't overcompressed and blowing up the speakers. *cough* I've never done that myself. Nope.

Great Choral pads too. And dat bwooom bass. And that weird detuned reverse-sound is a nice touch, kinda sounds like a screeching vampire.

larrynachos responds:

I kept the reigns firm on this one. Not that I know what I'm doing when it comes to dubstep or anything lol. That choral pad is the only serum patch I didn't make myself in this song, but it was too good to replace.

Thanks for the review!

That's what I'm here for. Sifting through as many Howlowe'en themed things I can this evening...
0:28 is where things get coool. Nice FX.

Feels a bit like a theme from Blood (the FPS).

shadow-ghost responds:

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed and that I could contribute to the Halloween atmosphere. >=)

Love the minimalistic approach to the drums. I love atmospheric pieces like this!

Oh, HiPolar!
Now, this reminds me of some Enix games from SNES. 0:48 wow we went into uncanny pitch valley. Spoopy. Silence. Ruh roh. We're going to the other pole!

If the main character in a 16-bit game had an abusive bipolar ex, I imagine this would be her theme. Lmao.

RealMrSnuggles responds:

lmao, thanks dude

Hi all!! I am a seasoned ReMixer and Original Works composer.
I am inspired by the VGM classics from the likes of Kenji Yamomoto, Michiru Yamane, David Wise and many, many more! I love blending ambience with groove, especially...
