This is fucking metal alright. I don't know if I've said this before with you, but I get mad Painkiller vibes. But enough about me, which bands were you inspired by? 'Rage Inferno' is killer.

Bands like...
Dream Theater - Mostly based on how the riffs give out a dark feeling
Black Label Society - Them sweet Low end Pinch Harmonics
Megadeth - The driving drum rolls and dark melodic tones
Sonic Mayham - AKA The dudes that made music for the Quake games

Hey thar fellow CompoVerse'r. I don't do OHC much, but I host MnP and I participate in PRC a ton.

Anyways... 'I feel at peace down here' is a nice water tune. A bit fast-paced for my tastes, but the melodies and instruments were more or less good choices. I think it might benefit from 10 to 20 BPM reduction. :P

Thanks for the critique. I might return to this one in the future to tweak or remix it, so I might see how it sounds with a slower tempo :)

[RejSende - Victoria]

Man even the synths sound orchestral. That is some dope pitch bending. I 'Victoria' is produced real well. Has a very Victorian/Gothic feel to it. Is there some vocoloid samples in there? I could swear I hear voices beyond the choirs.

[Legend Of Dragoon - Ruined Seles (Cover)]

This is in my top 5 favorite jrpgs of all time. Good source tune pick. This is pretty damn good in my books. Actually, it kinda seems like this is the credit theme that they would use if this was an anime adaptation of Legend of Dragoon*, at least for season 1 haha.

0:26-0:33 I detected some off-keyness with the E-guitar.

0:33 - 1:26 no issues.

1:27-1:50 here we go again, some issues there. Is the bassline sample detuned? Something funky is going on.

I was simply trying a different effect on my guitar and you guessed it was detuned -2 and its seems that in some parts of the song it doesn't really work out sadly

I think I was too focused on what it sounded like from 33-1:26 as you mentioned that some how that slipped under my radar but now I can't unhear it

[MACHINE ELF BALLROOM]

Interesting semi off-key vibe. It repulses and attracts, kinda like a David Lynch theme. Like, everything is fine, but there's a touch of unease. Anxiety. Kinda like my normal day.

Nice pitch-bends there. Nice use of reverb and lots of things to keep the listener engaged. OK that's all the fancy reviews I'm giving today.

Nice shift of tone at 1:55. This part is my favorite.

Production seems pretty solid too.

Update: lowered the shelves and it looks natural. Sticking to parametic EQ with high shelf turned on. Peak destroyed my headphones. Lowshelf destroyed the sound. It's looking good. 👌✌️
