0:10-0:52 was a tad long for me and almost made me skate by this gem, but thankfully I stayed and I be lovin' this insofar... Kinda has a dreamscape vibe to this. Or a fever dream. Very well done one at that. It's good. Clever gate effects too and those chiptune FX...damn son, so grood. Great and good.

That bass REALLY helps glue this together and keep it coherent too.

Ends really well too.

MurkodenMusic responds:

Thanks so much! I agree, the introduction was a tad long. I tried to add little details to keep the listener intrigued until the main part of the track, but I guess that did not go very well. I'm glad you stuck by! I wanted to add little intricate effects to spice it up, and I wanted to also work on my bass work. I am also glad you enjoyed the enjoy.
Again, thank you for listening, and for your feedback. :)

I think it ticks all the boxes nicely. Fairly well produced, seems like the wap wap wap chord things are clipping out the mix a tad, but it may be just how they sound. Otherwise it's perfect.

TomWillson responds:

Thanks a lot for your feedback, it's important to me.🌒

Dubstep is usually a lot louder than this. Feels like Chill-Dub-Step. Not necessarily a bad thing. But the beat is so much louder than everything else going on. I'd say get those wub wubs louder and the other supportive melodies and rhythms. But that's my personal opinion. Caveat: REALLY love those vocoloid FX ;)

Electronic-Creeper responds:

Oh thx maybe ill remake millennium once i have a better concept of the genre

Nice choir morphs. 0:52 is where they really shine. Nice work! Very sombre requiem.

Listen 2: Wow u can tell that I didn't have my music critique ears on, I missed a few special touches lmao. Those church organs are really swell. Gave an extra half star ;)

What sample libraries were used btw? :3

Skashi95 responds:

Thank you! The kind of comment I like~

Has a DKC2 vibe on the rhythmic synth, lovin that. 'Chrome' has some of that 80's cheese, but it's a pretty solid tune nonetheless and the melody is functional. Oh it's synthwave. That explains it. Carry on then. Nice work.

K-oztron responds:

Haha thank you! Yeah I know it's cheesy lol

Hi all!! I am a seasoned ReMixer and Original Works composer.
I am inspired by many things, but perhaps most notably Metroid Prime and Silent Hill 2/3, as I love blending ambience with groove. Cheers!
